Description

The easiest way to impress your guests with a juicy, tender turkey breast using a Crock Pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Bone In Turkey Breast (46 lbs)
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Optional herbs and spices (rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the olive oil all over the turkey, then season it generously with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the base of the Crock Pot.
  4. Place the seasoned turkey breast on top of the broth, skin-side up.
  5. Cover the Crock Pot and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and carefully transfer the turkey to a roasting pan.
  7. Roast the turkey in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Notes

Check the temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
