Description

A fun and flavorful chicken dish featuring crispy breading, zesty dill pickles, and rich Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • Bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks)
  • Dill pickles
  • Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • Breadcrumbs (Panko recommended)
  • Eggs
  • Spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne)

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry your chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Slice dill pickles into chips or spears and soak chicken in pickle juice for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and set up a three-bowl system for breading.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally roll it in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with extra dill pickles.
