Description

Juicy chicken breasts topped with a luxurious, creamy mushroom and Asiago sauce that offers a five-star restaurant vibe right in your kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Asiago cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and sear for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken and let it rest on a plate.
  4. Add mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Add minced garlic and thyme; sauté for another minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add Asiago cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Place chicken back in the skillet, coat it with sauce, and simmer for an extra 2-3 minutes.
  8. Plate, garnish with parsley and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding spinach or kale for extra nutrition. Feel free to swap out the cheese if needed.
