A one-pan wonder featuring chicken seared to perfection in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce that’s sure to impress.

- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Pat the chicken breasts dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts to the hot skillet and sear for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Melt butter in the same pan, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer until reduced by half. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover with sauce, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in garlic and Italian herbs beforehand. You can also add veggies like spinach or mushrooms to the sauce.
