- 4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
- 4 slices Ham
- 4 slices Swiss Cheese
- Breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag using a meat mallet.
- Layer the ham and cheese in the center of each chicken breast and roll them up tightly.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic powder, Dijon mustard, and cream, then stir in chicken broth.
- Melt more butter and mix with breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange chicken in a baking dish, pour creamy sauce over, and sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
