Description

A fancy yet easy-to-make dish that combines tender chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese in a creamy sauce, perfect for impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 4 slices Ham
  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag using a meat mallet.
  3. Layer the ham and cheese in the center of each chicken breast and roll them up tightly.
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic powder, Dijon mustard, and cream, then stir in chicken broth.
  5. Melt more butter and mix with breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  6. Arrange chicken in a baking dish, pour creamy sauce over, and sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
