Delicious soft and chewy peanut butter cookies topped with a gooey chocolate kiss.

- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar; mix until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the peanut butter mixture and mix until just combined.
- Form dough into small balls and roll in granulated sugar.
- Place on prepared baking sheets with space to expand.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and cookies are puffy.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use creamy peanut butter and do not overbake. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can prevent spreading.
