- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until they’re mostly gooey.
- Mix in the melted butter and stir well.
- Combine with the beaten egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Stir gently.
- Fold in the flour until no dry flour is visible.
- Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter. Bake for about 60 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use extra ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture. Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
