Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of butter (softened)
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until incorporated.
  4. Scoop about a tablespoon of dough, roll into a ball, and toss in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon until coated.
  5. Place the cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are light golden brown.
  6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
