Description

Soft, chewy, and gooey butter cookies, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix (vanilla or yellow)
  • 1/2 cup of butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • Powdered sugar for rolling
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs until you get a thick batter.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. Form balls of dough about 1 inch in diameter using a cookie scoop or your hands.
  5. Roll each ball in powdered sugar.
  6. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly underbaked and gooey.
  8. Let them cool before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
