Description

A delightful sweet and salty treat made with layers of buttery crackers, rich caramel sauce, drizzled chocolate, and optional nuts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Saltine Crackers
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • Nuts (optional)
  • Sea Salt (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Seasonings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the Saltines in a single layer.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Bring to a boil and let bubble for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the Saltines, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-8 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and allow to melt, then spread into a smooth layer.
  6. Add nuts or other toppings before cooling completely.
  7. Let cool for at least an hour, then break into pieces and enjoy!
