A delightful sweet and salty treat made with layers of buttery crackers, rich caramel sauce, drizzled chocolate, and optional nuts.

- 1 cup Saltine Crackers
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- Nuts (optional)
- Sea Salt (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Seasonings (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the Saltines in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Bring to a boil and let bubble for 3-5 minutes.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the Saltines, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-8 minutes until caramelized.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and allow to melt, then spread into a smooth layer.
- Add nuts or other toppings before cooling completely.
- Let cool for at least an hour, then break into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
Can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container for several days.
