Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • Zest of 1 large orange

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually sift in the flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until it forms a dough.
  3. Add the orange zest to the dough.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  8. Cut cookies into desired shapes.
  9. Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
