Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Gradually sift in the all-purpose flour and stir gently until incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
- Make small balls of dough, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-12 minutes until the edges turn golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool for a few minutes before rolling them in powdered sugar.
Notes
