A delicious twist on comfort food, combining creamy garlic chicken alfredo served in crunchy, buttery garlic bread bowls.
Ingredients

- 4 large bread rolls (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 1 stick of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 2 cups grilled chicken (diced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out the insides.
- Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley; spread inside hollowed rolls.
- Bake rolls upside down on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat; sauté grilled chicken for a few minutes.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then add Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper; allow to thicken for 3-5 minutes.
- Fill baked bread bowls with chicken alfredo mixture and sprinkle additional Parmesan on top.
- Return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
Notes
Use sturdy bread to hold the filling. Experiment with different sauces for variety. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge.
