Description

Deliciously chewy cookies featuring a perfect balance of maple syrup, cinnamon, and creamy white chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Stir in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet, allowing space for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly underbaked.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor and texture.
