Description

A comforting and cheesy pasta dish that combines all the flavors of taco night, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey (or meat substitute)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mixed types preferred)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions, undercooking slightly.
  2. Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up until crumbly. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and half a cup of water to the meat, mix well, and let it simmer.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the meat mixture and fold in the cream cheese until melted. Stir in shredded cheese.
  5. Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!
