- 8 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of choice
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey (or meat substitute)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mixed types preferred)
- Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions, undercooking slightly.
- Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up until crumbly. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and half a cup of water to the meat, mix well, and let it simmer.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the meat mixture and fold in the cream cheese until melted. Stir in shredded cheese.
- Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!
