- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Your choice of bread (sub rolls, toasted buns, or artisanal slices)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as you stir.
- Once it’s nearly cooked through, toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle the cheese over the beef mixture.
- Cover the skillet and let it sit until the cheese is melted—about 3–5 minutes.
- Toast your chosen bread while the cheese melts.
- Scoop the cheesy ground beef onto your toasted bread.
- Serve while hot with your favorite toppings.
