Description

A quick and easy spaghetti dish loaded with garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the spaghetti.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan, sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, and mix. Gradually add reserved pasta water until reaching desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Plate the spaghetti, sprinkle with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For more garlic flavor, consider adding roasted garlic. Mix in different cheeses for variation.
