A quick and easy spaghetti dish loaded with garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.

- 12 oz spaghetti
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the spaghetti.
- In a large pan, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the pan, sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, and mix. Gradually add reserved pasta water until reaching desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate the spaghetti, sprinkle with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
For more garlic flavor, consider adding roasted garlic. Mix in different cheeses for variation.
