Description

Delicious and customizable cheesy garlic chicken wraps that are perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional add-ins: jalapeños, bell peppers, spinach, or any other veggies
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and cook for a couple more minutes until warmed through.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese until it melts and combines with the chicken and garlic.
  5. Spread a layer of sour cream on each tortilla and top with the cheesy chicken mixture.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  7. If desired, toast the wraps in the skillet for a couple of minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  8. Slice the wraps in half and serve with salsa or a fresh salad, garnishing with herbs if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the recipe by adding extra toppings or swapping chicken for beans for a vegetarian option.
