Ingredients

- 500g boneless and skinless chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1-inch piece ginger, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken thighs in a bowl with soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat about 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the leftover marinade into the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Serve the chicken garnished with freshly sliced spring onions.
Notes
For extra kick, add red pepper flakes while the sauce thickens.
