Description
Tender and juicy chicken thighs slow-cooked in a rich, tangy BBQ sauce for a delicious weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 2–3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes, honey, or brown sugar
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
- Layer the onions and garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the chicken thighs on top, forming a delicious tower.
- Pour the BBQ sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the paprika, salt, and pepper on top.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken directly in the pot when done and serve as desired.
Notes
Chicken thighs are juicier than breasts, and leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
