- 4 Salmon Fillets (skin-on preferred)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 Lemon Slices
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- Fresh Lemon Juice (from 2 lemons)
- Fresh Parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place your salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add lemon slices on top of the salmon.
- Bake the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Slowly add 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring constantly and let it simmer without boiling.
- Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Just before serving, stir in chopped fresh parsley.
- Plate the salmon, drizzle with the sauce, and garnish with more parsley and a lemon slice.
