Ingredients
Peels from 2 organic apples
2 cups filtered water
1 cinnamon stick
2–3 whole cloves (optional)
1 slice fresh ginger (optional)
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
1 tsp raw honey (optional, add after steeping)
Instructions
`Wash apples thoroughly and peel.
Add peels, cinnamon, and optional spices to a saucepan with water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Strain into a cup, add lemon or honey, and serve warm.
Optional: Chill for iced version.
