Description

Delicate Almond Snowflake Cookies with Sugar Icing – crisp, buttery, and sparkling with festive sweetness.


Ingredients

Scale

2½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup almond flour

½ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp almond extract

1 tsp vanilla extract

For Icing:

1½ cups powdered sugar

23 tbsp milk

½ tsp almond extract

Optional: sanding sugar or edible glitter


Instructions

1. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, almond extract, and vanilla.

2. Whisk flour, almond flour, and salt; mix into wet ingredients.

3. Chill dough 1 hour.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick.

5. Cut snowflake shapes and place on baking sheets.

6. Bake 9–11 minutes until edges are light golden. Cool completely.

7. Whisk icing ingredients until smooth. Decorate cookies and sprinkle with sugar.

Notes

Chill dough for clean edges.

Use almond flour for smoother texture.

Add white chocolate drizzle for extra flair.
